How does it work?
The RED GULL cleaning routine expanded by some special
ingrediants, prepares a sail for a new protective
and
functional internal structure and surface. The PRO-2 ingrediants,
a
chemical "cocktail", permeate into the un- and desaturated
fibres of an aged sail, bonding with the remaining resins and to the
sails
Dacron fibres.
This way the treatment does not act like a superficial coating but
as a constructive and strengthening part of the sail, like the resin in
a glass fibre laminate. This section of the treatment brings the
threads/yarns of the Dacron woving back to place and cements these to
their almost original place.

1. Through Sailmakers
We cooperate with most of the sailmakers. You can obtain our services
mostly from your preferred sailmaker - call him to find out.
2. Through Retail Partners
RED GULL offers the services also through selected watersport
retailers. You can obtain from your watersport shop a RED GULL order
envelope with a prepared transportbill, tags for the sails, covers or
ropes you plan to send in and an explaining guide line. Evt.
repairs can be taken care of through our sail- or cover making partners.
Your sails or covers will be send directly from you to us, and be
treated acc. your indications. After treatment, they will be returned
to your/our retail partner, for pick up and payment.
3. Through Service Companies,
shipyards and boat dealers
Part of yacht servicing is also taking care of covers, spray hoods,
sails, ropes and halyards. This service cooperation network gives you
the opportunity, to get our services during winter storage, while
having a service in your shipyard or at your boat dealer.
4. Through RED GULL directly
